AYUB TEACHING HOSPITAL ABBOTTABAD Ayub Medical College and the associated Ayub Teaching Hospital Abbottabad is an autonomous Medical Teaching Institution under the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Medical Teaching Institutions Act, 2015. The Ayub Teaching Hospital requires the services of a Hospital Director, to commence work as soon as possible. Qualifications and Experience Candidates must have a recognized Master’s Degree in Hospital Management, Health Services Management, Business Management, Public Health, Public Administration or any other relevant management qualification. Applicants possessing a recognized Medical Degree with an additional management degree, and suitable experience in management, may also apply. A minimum of seven years’ experience at management level positions will be required.
Main Responsibilities • All non-clinical functions of the hospital
Preparation of annual budget and business plan Maintenance of building and oversight of engineering services Development and maintenance of ancillary services Responsible and accountable for maintaining financial discipline and transparency
Implementation and execution of policies
Ensuring achievement of targets set by the Board of Governors The Hospital Director reports to the Board of Governors. GENERAL INFORMATION
1. The position will be filled on a contract basis for a period of five years, extendable for a further two terms of five years each.
